Sunny is the co-founder, President and CEO of Apptio, responsible for company vision, strategic direction, planning and execution. Sunny's enterprise software career spans more than 20 years with roles in general management, strategic marketing, product management and business development. Before founding Apptio, Sunny was Executive VP of Products at Opsware and was responsible for all of Opsware product businesses up to its acquisition by HP for over $1.6 billion.

Demonstrating his passion for pioneering innovative solutions to complex enterprise technology problems, Sunny co-founded iConclude and created the IT runbook automation market. Sunny served as the company’s CEO, serving customers such as ACS, Alaska Airlines, Glaxo Smith Kline and Halliburton, until its acquisition by Opsware. Previously, Sunny held senior leadership roles in Products, Business Development and Engineering at Mercury Interactive, Rational Software, and IBM. Sunny earned a BS in Computer Science from the University of South Carolina, was selected as a Top 40 CEOs under 40, and was named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of The Year in 2012.

Kurt is a co-founder and as Chief Financial Officer is responsible for all of the company's operations. Kurt brings more than 15 years of financial and operational management experience to the company. Prior to co-founding Apptio, Kurt oversaw the corporate finance, legal, accounting, human resource, and information technology functions at iConclude. Kurt was instrumental in completing the successful sale of iConclude to Opsware in 2007.

Before joining iConclude, Kurt was VP of Finance at Pacific Edge Software where he led fundraising efforts that secured over $40 million in venture equity and debt financing. Kurt's tenure at Pacific Edge culminated in the sale of the company to Serena Software. Kurt began his career at Ernst & Young LLP's assurance and advisory business services group. He holds a BA in Business Administration from the University of Washington.

Paul is a co-founder and CTO of Apptio, responsible for the continued development of the company’s SaaS platform. Paul has more than 15 years of software architecture experience and spent more than a decade building performance and troubleshooting tools for Java and .NET, first at Compuware and NuMega Technologies and more recently at Mercury Interactive and HP, where he was the Chief Architect of the Diagnostics component of Business Availability Center and LoadRunner.

At Mercury, Paul led a team of engineers through a multi-year feature sprint and incremental re-architecture of Diagnostics, taking the product from the brink of market failure to Gartner’s leader’s quadrant, resulting in a 6x revenue improvement to over $40 million per year. Paul holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of Technology, Sydney.

Larry is Vice President of Sales and has responsibility for worldwide sales and technical field operations. Larry is an accomplished sales executive with over 18 years of experience building and leading high performance sales teams in the enterprise software industry. His successful track record includes leadership roles across the full spectrum of IT operations and application management technologies.

Prior to joining Apptio, Larry was the Vice President of Sales responsible for HP Software's enterprise sales organization in the eastern US, a business comprised of six sales regions and a staff of 50 sales professionals. Larry joined HP Software via their acquisition of Opsware, where he was the Senior Vice President of Sales for Eastern North America. Before beginning his sales career, Larry spent four years as a commissioned officer in the United States Army. Larry holds an MBA from The George Washington University in Washington, DC.

Brett is Apptio's Senior Vice President for engineering and SaaS operations, responsible for the design and delivery of products that support the company's TBM strategy. Brett brings tremendous depth and experience leading teams that build market-leading products, and his strong customer focus is one of the keys to the continued growth of our business.

Prior to joining Apptio, Brett ran engineering efforts at Isilon Systems (acquired by EMC in 2010), where his product vision and high-performance leadership contributed to an eight-fold increase in revenue during his tenure. His professional background includes similar, high-impact roles as president and CEO of Lockdown Networks and CTO and senior vice president of product development at F5 Networks, where he helped the company become a market-share leader and one of the most successful initial public offerings of 1999. Brett holds a BS in geophysics and oceanography from the Florida Institute of Technology.

As the Chief Marketing Officer of Apptio, Chris holds responsibility for strategy and world-wide market development. He is an accomplished enterprise software executive with over 20 years of experience in building new categories and executing differentiated go-to-market strategies. In early 2012, Chris championed the spin out of Apptio's CIO advisory board into a nonprofit business entity of 500+ members focused on creating the professional discipline, standards and industry benchmarks required to run IT as a business. As such, Chris serves as the President of the Technology Business Management (TBM) Council and runs the day-to-day operations of the Council's agenda to help CIOs transform the IT value proposition via TBM methodologies and best practices.

Prior to Apptio, Chris was an operating partner in Austin Ventures' CEO-in-residence program where he focused on identifying new growth strategies and defining disruptive business models. He was also the Chief Marketing Officer and Vice President of Products at NetIQ for 8 years and ran Ernst & Young's Global security practice for 4 years.

Stan is Vice President of Strategic Alliances where he is responsible for leading partnerships and alliances. Stan brings more than 20 years of experience in business development and strategic alliances in enterprise software and Software-as-a-Service. Most recently, Stan led business development for Intelligent Results, a business intelligence and predictive analytics software company, where he developed the company's partner ecosystem, closed key partner deals, and drove the company's acquisition by First Data Corporation.

Earlier in his career, Stan led strategic alliances for IBM's Rational Software division, managing relationships with some of the industry's leading players including Microsoft, Hewlett Packard, and Intel. Stan was also Vice President of Business Development and Marketing for NCompass Labs, a web-content management software company. Stan holds a BS in aerospace engineering from the MIT and an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.

Dione is Vice President of Customer Success and oversees Apptio's professional services and customer support teams. Dione has over 17 years of experience in enterprise IT, including over a decade of executive experience. Prior to joining Apptio, Dione served as vice president of worldwide professional services and managed services at Precise Software Solutions, where she oversaw the restructuring of the professional services team and built the managed services delivery team from the ground up. During her tenure at Precise Software, she was named to the MSPmentor list of top 250 managed services executives.

Prior to that, Dione was the vice president of field operations at Pano Logic and was responsible for the company's sales, alliances, support and services. She also served in a number of roles at Mercury Interactive, including vice president of managed services, where she built Mercury's SaaS business from scratch, vice president of professional services for the Americas, and vice president of services, responsible for Mercury's global delivery practice. Dione holds a B.S. in computer science and engineering from UCLA.

Over her career, Carmen has helped develop high performing leaders and teams with companies such as Rackspace, eBay, Intuit, Microsoft, Starbucks, and Seattle Genetics, to name a few. Carmen is a trusted advisor and coach to many accomplished Fortune 500 leaders and first joined Apptio as the company executive leadership coach.

Prior to joining Apptio, Carmen was co-founder and President of Highpoint Experience, a highly respected training company focused on team and leadership development, organizational effectiveness and high performing cultures. Carmen discovered her passion for training and development while leading Oracle's HR organization during their time of high growth to a public company in the 1980s. Carmen holds degrees in Sociology and Education, and is a certified Coach.
