Day three of the 2018 Technology Business Management (TBM) Conference started with a guest-filled, announcement-packed keynote session presented by Apptio CEO Sunny Gupta.
The keynote highlighted two new Apptio product announcements, as well as a new partnership between Apptio and Coupa Software. Gupta welcomed Apptio EVP of Engineering Theo Beack to the stage to unveil two new products: Apptio for Cloud, which is comprised of two separate cloud solutions, and Apptio Agile Insights.
Apptio for Cloud is made up of Cloud Business Management (CBM), formerly known as Apptio Cloud Cost Management, and the new Hybrid Business Management (HBM) tool that combines cloud usage information from CBM with on-premises infrastructure usage data. Apptio HBM is currently an Early Adopter program and the company anticipates the solution will be made generally available in early 2019. Apptio CBM is certified with AWS competency, and in the coming weeks will be available for purchase through the AWS Marketplace through AWS Enterprise Contracts.
Apptio Agile Insights is a SaaS solution that provides a unique combination of financial and execution analytics to measure value delivery, cost of quality and labor utilization. Apptio Agile Insights is also an Early Adopter program that will be made generally available in early 2019.
Throughout the keynote, Gupta was joined on stage by executives from Unilever Global VP of IT Cindy Hoots, AWS Marketplace VP David McCann, and Nasdaq CFO of IT Jim Dinan.
