Apptio Announces Launch into the Australian Market and UXC Ltd. Partnership

Leading Companies Including Orica and the Australian Government Adopt Technology Business Management

SYDNEY, Australia – March 24, 2014 – Apptio the leading provider of Technology Business Management (TBM) SaaS applications, has today announced its launch into Australia and New Zealand. Apptio has officially opened offices in both Sydney and Melbourne, in addition to embarking on a hiring drive to bolster local presence. The company will work with UXC Ltd. as an implementer, integrator a reseller. Customers at launch include Orica and the Australian Government departments of Education and Employment Shared Services Centre.

The company’s Australian go-to-market strategy is led by General Manager, Richard Outten, and involves leveraging reseller partnerships including a key relationship with UXC Ltd., the largest Australian-owned ICT infrastructure solutions and services company. Apptio will be working closely with UXC to distribute its solutions across all sectors, including government and education.

The relationship with UXC Ltd. complements Apptio’s global strategic alliance partners which include KPMG, Ernst & Young and ISG.
